Dr. Blanche Lavizzo Park and Edwin T. Pratt Park both share the same space, Located at 2100 South Jackson Street, just off of East Yesler Way. Built in honor of the first African American woman pediatrician in Washington State, Dr. Blanche Sellers Lavizzo and African American Civil Rights activist, Edwin T. Pratt, these parks consist of picnic tables and grills, a restroom, water fountain, grass space, fitness equipment, and a small amphitheater. On the same block, people can participate in various art education at Pratt Fine Arts Center.
