Washington Hall is a well-known center for social and cultural organizations and activities. Originally built in 1908, Washington Hall has been home experienced several transitions and changes. After many years of functioning as a gathering space, dance hall, lodge, and rental facility, and concert hall, Historic Seattle completed a restoration project in 2016 and ultimately saved Washington Hall from being demolished due to disrepair. Now, anchor tenants include 206 Zulu, Voices Rising, and Hidmo. Washington Hall continues to be a major supporter and home for ethnic and cultural activity and is supposed by 4Culture and Historic Seattle.
